Now that we have brought so many schools together from the UK and East Asian Countries, we feel it is time to help those schools who have been very active on this website to work together more closely.Very soon we will be announcing a series of new projects that your teacher can sign you and your class up for where you will work together with 2 other schools - 1 from each of the countries you are partnered with. There will be range of topics and as soon as your teachers signs your school and class up you will be able to see the specially created Project Forums and get started on your project.Meanwhile, I thought it would be useful for me and the team to find out what projects you might be interested in taking part in.
Here are the details:
Do's & Don'ts
This is a project about 'Do's & Don'ts' and the laws in your countries.
Help each other to discover new places, cultures and people by writing a travel guide to your partner school's town.
Eating is Believing
Exchange your recipes and teach each other how enjoying world cuisine can be really healthy!
Love to Draw!
Do you love to draw? Do you love to talk about your family or friends? Then this project is for you and your classmates!
The Games We Play
Do you like playing sport or games? What's your favourite sport or game? Is it unique to your part of the world or do you have some unique rules that are local to your country or town? Share your love of sport and games by telling us how to play and teaching us about the rules, equipment and uniform you must use to play it!
Weather and Climate
What is the weather like in your part of your country? Do you have 4 seasons? Is it hot or cold or wet or windy? Do you get the same amount of rainfall as your partner countries' towns? Is the weather the same as it was 5 or 10 years ago? What kind of plants and animals can be found in your country? Are they same as those in the other 2 countries? Why is it that some things can live easily in one place but in others they cannot?
Inventing Tomorrow's World
What will it be like in 10 or 20 years' time? What will you be doing in the year 2029? What will we be driving, eating, watching or listening to? What will technology bring us and what will the Internet and Cyberspace look like? Let your imagination run wild as we step into the future!
How Green is your School? Are you more environmentally friendly at your school than your partner overseas? How much waste do you recycle and what's your carbon footprint reading? Do you all come to school by car or do you take a bus, cycle or walk? Who's the greenest of them all?...
